The concept of Aspyra came through our love for Ankara, which is a Dutch wax print cotton fabric with vibrant patterns with its tie dye batik roots are found in Indonesia but is now culturally woven in the heart of Africa. We want the whole world to experience appreciate and love the Ankara fabric as much as we do.
The Ankara inspired us with its endless range of pure pattern poetry exploding in our imagination. We wanted a life lived in multicolored prints. This is how Aspyra was born and became a prints-obsessed brand that serves nothing but prints.
The name Aspyra was inspired from the word aspire or aspiration. We want to encourage people to experiment and mix patterns, bold colours and prints. We hope that our products become a part of their daily life, with them every step of the way as they fight to live out their best, most vibrant life right now.
